The group is originally from Friday Harbor; a town of 6000 in the San Juan Islands of Washington State, and have since migrated to Seattle. With three emcees, they have a diverse range of content, influenced by the likes of Outkast, Kanye West, Mos Def, Atmosphere, Eminem, The Temptations, Sublime, and Jack Johnson. In 2016 The Good Husbands released they're first EP titled Staycation, and have followed up with a number of singles. They have also released two mixtapes; The Proposal, was exclusively released through popular college blog Good Music All Day and the second mixtape, So Far, So Good, became an experimental follow-up that has seen great traction through less-traditional routes. The band has performed alongside Seattle's own Blue Scholars, Sol, Sir Mix-a-Lot, and have opened for Mike Posner, The Nappy Roots, Zion I, Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, Mike Stud and Wallpaper.
